
| The commanding officer shall direct the efforts of the unit toward attainment of the recruiting, retention, and educational goals and objectives of the NSCC. The commanding officer is accountable to the Regional Director and the NHQ Representative for compliance with these Regulations and for all matters relating to the proper administration and operation of the unit. The Commanding Officer is only responsible to the sponsoring organization for financial oversight matters. |
| Before joining the Sea Cadets LTJG Martin rose through the ranks of Gloucester High School’s Marine Corps Junior Reserves Officer Training corps. She eventually rose to the rank of colonel and battalion Commander and Drill Team Commander. She attended numerous training at Fort Dix New Jersey. LT Martin joined the sea cadet corps in 2003 as an instructor and was promoted to Ensign 13 Dec 05. LT Martin has served has escort officer at Recruit training New England, holding the position of Division Officer. At the former Paul Revere Division (now Boston Minutemen Division) LT Martin held the billet of training officer, then acting Executive Officer until her appointment as Commanding Officer on 13 Dec 05. In addition to the National training she has staffed, LT Martin has also gone on numerous field training exercises and small arms training. |





She resides in Gloucester MA with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle. LT Martin holds and associates degree in Criminal Justice. |
